Tabulation
Last Act of Valor will utilize the Stoa Joy of Tournaments tabulation software and will adhere to Stoa's Transparent Tabulation Policy.
There will be six preliminary rounds for Team Policy, Lincoln Douglas, and Parliamentary Debate.
In debate events, random pairing will be used for the first one or two preliminary rounds (at least). If there is an odd number of teams/competitors in a debate event, then the bye will be randomly assigned for the first one or two rounds (at least), and will be assigned to the low seed for the remaining preliminary rounds.
Normal procedure is to maintain club protect and give each competitor/team an equivalent number of Affirmative and Negative preliminary rounds. However, due to disproportionate club size, club protect may not be achievable.
Stoa USA NITOC tiebreakers will be used to rank teams through preliminary rounds.
